KUCHING: The Ministry of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development has introduced a consolidated form to expedite the registration process for private ‘taska’ (nurseries) and kindergartens to open.
According to its minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah, the form would include the latest standard operating procedures (SOPs) and also conditions set by each technical agency as guidelines for every private taska and kindergarten operator.
“If these childcare centres are not registered, they would not be able to enjoy facilities provided by the state government, such as the annual grant of RM5,000.

KUCHING: The iSarawakCare app will be fully implemented by next year, says Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah.
She said a trial run of the app, which provides users with information on government assistance offered by the ministry, was carried out on July 3.

MIRI: The iSarawak Care digital platform, which will undergo a trial run tomorrow, is expected to enhance the state government’s delivery of social and welfare services to the people, said Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah.
The Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister said the trial run would cover applications for Post Natal Care Assistance (BIB) and Endowment Fund Sarawak (EFS).

KUCHING: Every application for a new private daycare centre or kindergarten that complies with the terms and procedures set by the Land and Survey Department, should receive approval within 35 days, says Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah.
The Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development believes that there needs to a standardised timeline for such process.

KUCHING: The Ministry of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development is mulling over simplifying the registration of daycare centres and kindergartens through the usage of only one form.
Minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah believes that through such simplification, operators would not have to fill out different types of forms with various authorities in terms of registering new daycare centres and kindergartens.
“We are working on a way to come up with a single form that covers all the requirements,” she told reporters at her office after chairing a meeting on the matter yesterday.

MIRI: Malaysians who want to travel by land to Limbang and Lawas via Brunei must comply with the sultanate’s latest entry declaration requirement enforced on Monday to curb the spread of Covid-19, said Sarawak Transport Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin.
